JCI President & CEO Karen Timmons to Speak at First International Patient Safety Congress, Antalya Turkey
- Article Body
- Karen Timmons, Joint Commission International’s (JCI) President and Chief Executive Officer, will deliver a keynote address at the First International Patient Safety Congress on 29 March. Ms. Timmons will speak about JCI’s role as a World Health Organization (WHO) Collaborating Centre for Patient Safety Solutions. The WHO has designated JCI as the world's first WHO Collaborating Centre dedicated solely to patient safety.
We encourage you to attend this new congress which will address a broad range of patient safety issues: creating a culture of patient safety, medication management, infection control, how the latest technologies can improve patient safety, and strategies for preventing laboratory errors. JCI Practice Leaders will be conducting tutorials throughout the event.
The congress is organised by the Patient Safety Organisation of Turkey and JCI is proud to be a sponsor of this event. It will be held from 28 March through 31 March, 2007, in Antalya at the WOW Kremlin Palace, Turkey.
